Dia dhaoibh a chairde, hello friends, and happy Friday! It’s been an incredible first few days and I once again want to say a huge thank you to all of you. The support and excitement has absolutely blown me away. I’m incredibly excited to bring the world of Tír Nascath to Legend in the Mist.
As we roll into the weekend, we’ll be taking a little break to recharge our batteries. Our response time to comments and messages may be a little slower, but rest assured we’ll get back to everyone.
In the meantime, there’s plenty more Beyond the Woods for you to enjoy. Myself and rockstar adventure writer Gareth Hanrahan had a great chat with Amit Moshe and Kevin Carpenter from Son of Oak Games, which you can watch here. I also had a chance to speak to Polygon about how Beyond the Woods for Legend in the Mist came to be, which you can read here. And lastly, a few weeks back I had an interview with Artur from RPG Drop who had some incredibly insightful questions. Stretch Goal Unlocked: Journeys to the Otherworld!

We’ve hit €100k in less than 24 hours — not a bad way to start the day! Thank you all so much for your support and excitement for Beyond the Woods. By hitting €100k we’ve unlocked our next stretch goal: journeys into the Otherworld! Also known as Tír nAill (TEER nahwl), this is the home of faeries and spirits, and the realm from which the Sluagh arose all those centuries ago. Maps will do you no good here and time is not as it should be — you’ll need to find a gateway out or risk being trapped there forever!
Our next stretch goal is €150k. If we reach that we’ll add our first new monster to the Lorekeeper’s Guide — and you all will get to decide! There are plenty of weird and wonderful creatures from Irish folklore to choose from, and you, our backers, will vote on which we include.
